What to Expect on Sundays
Here's what a typical Sunday morning looks like in 5 steps.
Parking
Our service starts at 10:00 AM and typically wraps up around 11:30 AM. We gather in the gym at North Knoxville Baptist Church, located at 217 W Oldham Ave., Knoxville, TN. Parking is available in the lot across from the church or along Worth St., where you’ll find spaces near the gym entrance. Look for our signs and friendly volunteers who will help guide you to a spot.
Arrive
When you arrive, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our hospitality team, ready to answer any questions and help you get oriented. You’ll receive a brochure with all the details about our gathering. Attached to it is a guest card you’re invited to fill out and bring to the Welcome Table—where we’ll have more information about our church and a small gift for you. And don’t forget to grab a cup of coffee before finding your seat!
Our Gathering
During the service, we read Scripture, sing Christ-centered songs, spend time in prayer, and hear a message from God’s Word. We also regularly celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. After the singing, there will be a short five-minute break for parents to take their children to their classrooms upstairs. We offer childcare for children through 2nd grade, and an infant care suite is available throughout the service.
After the Service
Following the service, you’ll notice we love spending time together and connecting as a church family. If you haven’t yet, feel free to stop by the Welcome Table—and know that our pastors will be up front and available if you’d like to talk or receive prayer.
